Boom, headshot!

October 29, 2013 – It is 6 times larger than the Bakken, 17 times the size of the Marcellus formation, and 80 times larger than the Eagle Ford shale.

“The find may land at 300 or 400 billion barrels, making it one of the greatest unconventional oil discoveries any of us will see in our lifetimes,” says Dr. Kent Moors and advisor to six of the top 10 oil producers and active consultant to 20 world governments.

“It represents a bona-fide redrawing of the global energy map as we know it,” Moors says, “and the mainstream media is completely ignoring it.”

The current estimates (P50) of 233 billion barrels are just 30 billion barrels shy of the estimated reserves in all of Saudi Arabia. The recent discovery outside a sleepy Australian town contains more black gold than in all of Iran, Iraq, Canada, or Venezuela, combined.

Senex Energy Limited announced Thursday that it has delivered a significant new oil discovery with the Dunlop-1 exploration well in southern Cooper-Eromanga Basin permit PEL 113 (Senex 100 percent) in South Australia. Wireline logs have confirmed a net pay interval in the McKinlay Member of approximately 10 feet (3 meters) and a subsequent drill stem test has resulted in oil free-flowing to surface at a rate of 1,200 barrels per day.

An interpreted net pay interval of up to 30 feet (9 meters) in the Murta Formation will be tested by further drill stem tests in the coming days. Dunlop-1 will be cased and suspended as a future oil producer and will be brought on production this quarter.

The success of Dunlop-1 further confirms the opportunity to add reserves and increase oil production across Senex’s extensive South Australian Cooper Basin permits from the current 30 plus well drilling program. Ensign Rig 48 commenced drilling Dunlop-1 Oct. 1 and reached a total depth of 4,820 feet (1,469 meters). Rig 48 will now move to the Pirraminta-2 exploration well in PEL 514. -

#1 Back in 1995, the U.S. Geological Survey told the American people that the Bakken Shale formation in western North Dakota and eastern Montana only held 151 million barrels of oil. Today, government officials are admitting that it holds 7.4 billion barrels of recoverable oil, and some analysts believe that the actual number could be closer to 24 billion barrels of oil.

#2 It is estimated that there are 19 billion barrels of recoverable oil in the tar sands of Utah.

#3 It is estimated that there are 86 billion barrels of recoverable oil in the Outer Continental Shelf.

#4 It is believed that there are 800 billion barrels of recoverable oil in the Green River formation in Wyoming.

#5 Overall, the United States is sitting on approximately 1.442 trillion barrels of recoverable oil.

#6 According to the Institute of Energy Research, the United States has an 88 year supply of natural gas.

#7 According to the Institute of Energy Research, the United States has a 169 year supply of oil.

#8 According to the Institute of Energy Research, the United States has a 465 year supply of coal.

#9 Goldman Sachs is predicting that the United States will be the number one oil producing country in the world by the year 2017.
